I’ve gotten some messages asking where Sunday’s post was with Spotlight Heart? Well we’ve recently lost our artist and have found a temporary one in the mod of Silver Spoon Adventures, one of our previous Spotlights.

However, he won’t be done with it till sometime in the middle of the week. So there’s that. Hopefully things get sorted out and Spotlight Heart can keep doing the Weekly Specials, but in the mean time we’ll just be settling on the regular Spotlights in the mean time.

P.S.: Not being able to draw sucks guys. Seriously.

Welp, it’s been a long day of procrastinating (aka playing more DFO. I know, I know). And now it’s time to do another Spotlight! Last time I’ll do one past due, promise. Today we’re reviewing, Sunshine Smiles and Ninja Rage!

Here we have two distinct mares, so right away it’s sort of getting two ponies for the price of one blog (would you call that Two Mares, One Blog?). And when I say distinct, I mean that these two couldn’t be more opposite of one another.

And with that I already like Rage. A mare after my own heart. As you could probably already tell, Sunshine is the happy go-lucky of the two with Rage being, well, more aggressive and badass. And goddamn is that awesome….

What? I’m a badass guy who likes an equally badass woman. So sue me. And an awesome gal like that deserves a nice place to lay down her head.

This picture alone is worth the follow. I already was liking this blog’s art style, but then I came across this picture and just….Wow. I mean it’s just amazing. The lighting and atmosphere is simply beautiful, and the imagery astonishing. You can really tell this mod puts a lot of effort into her posts.

Aside from the art style though, I also must say that I like not only the way Sunshine and Rage play off one another with their distinct, opposite personalities, but also I feel attention should be called to the way the mod creates a great transition between her characters walking on all fours, and their bodies being bipedal and more human-like.

So with that we close off another Spotlight. My personal opinion? I’ll definently be keeping an eye on this blog from now on, and honestly so should you. So go give it a follow and support the artist’s talent.

Welp, I fell asleep on my keyboard guys. Again. Sorry about that, stayed up till 4:00 AM playing DFO and fell asleep while scrolling through Tumblr and our asks for blogs. Alright, in keeping with my previous announcement, every week we’ll bring you another one of Izanagi’s friends’ Pony-Sona themed blog. And today, we have Prince of Junes!

Yep, he’s the ponified version Yosuke! Now you guys might be wondering if I used the queue again and that’s why this is showing up in the morning. Nope! I’m just very good at being lazy! Was up all night from 10:00 PM till now at 8:00 AM in the morning! Ok ok, I’m joking. Really I just had an all night run on Dungeon Fighter Online and I lost track of time. Well anyways I’m rambling, lets get on to the blog!

Here we follow the exploits of Yosuke throughout his daily routine at life and answers questions from his followers. Huh, I guess we’ll be running down blogs for each of the individual characters then? Well if that’s the case I guess everyone gets to follow their favorite character! But I’m sure a lot of you are a fan of Yosuke, I mean just look at that SWAG!

Do I really need to give a run down on the art style at this point? Face it, the mod’s got talent. The detail is wonderful and shading just fits so well with the pictures, apparently the mod’s got a good sense of humor too.

The blog’s humorous and does quite a bit of crossovers as one would expect, especially with those of the PonySona community. And lets not forget Yosuke is pretty entertaining just as a character himself.

Oh Junes, don’t you know? Hell hath no fury like….whatever-the-hell-that-thing-is scorn.

He usually answers some quite personal questions, though some questions seem to get to him more than others…..

That face alone is just absolutely priceless. I won’t tell you guys what question it was, you’ll just have to look at the blog and find out.

However, I do have a fair bit of warning for you guys and gals (particularly you guys). The mod does have a tendency to sort of ship Yosuke and his (guy) friend Yu….It’s not that much mind you and it doesn’t really come up a lot, and they don’t try and do any romance scenes or have them making out, but yeah if you’re not able to stand yaoi shipping you might steer clear of this blog. If you are, you fan(girls) will probably love this thing. So yeah there’s that.

So in the end, Ladies, I’m sure you’ll love it. Us guys? Um….yeah no comment. Haha. Well that’s all the time we got now. I’m going to go play me some more DFO! Cya Friday folks!

Alright guys! Tonight, or rather Today for you guys, we have Ask Little Amber!

(Now why is it Today for you guys?  Well I wanted to try out the queue feature for once. Weird word though am I right?)

You know, I thought after the whole Canterlot Wedding fiasco changeling blogs would be A LOT more widespread than how they were, especially nowadays. Far rarer we actually see a changeling filly! But yes, Amber here is a cute little filly who seems to differ from her kin, instead being more innocent about the world, though I suppose sometimes this doesn’t quite work in her favor…

Kind of breaks your heart don’t it? Well aside from being cute sometimes and heart breaking others, one of the high points of this blog is that it’s also an interactive blog, which definently scores you a couple of more points in our eyes. Everyone loves to participate after all!

Everyone sends in their votes on what options shown should be picked, and she shows the statistics after each post of what you guys chose. And yes, that’s Fluttershy that’s she’s staying with now. Just increases the D'awww factor by 10 don’t it?

Oh and if you pop over to it and are confused as to why you don’t seem to see Amber, well she’s currently been disguised as Sweetie Bell for a couple of posts now. And not just Sweetie Bell, Sweetie Bell…IN SOCKS!

Because lets face it, you’re probably going to end up following the blog just because of this pic alone.

Now I suppose now I should talk about art style. Well as you can see, much like Izanagi and other blogs before it, the artstyle just seems to match up with the overall tone of the blog, and that’s good because you really don’t always want someone spending a week or two working on a post. Short and sweet can be just as effective, and this is a blog that proves it. If you like interactive blogs and want something a bit different in your protagonist, then this is the blog for you!

“Howdy folks! It’s time for our Weekly Special Spotlight! Spotlight Heart here to entertain you guys once again! So what blog shall we take another look at this week? Well it’s Izanagi And Friends!”

“Apparently these guys are what’s called a Persona! Well I’m not sure what that means exactly but lets see if we can get answer. Izanagi? Care to explain?”

“That. Sounds….ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I should really get me one of those! I wonder what mine would look like? Well lets see how at least summoning one works.”

“Um, are you sure you did that right? I’m not really sure how these Persona things work but, yeah pretty sure you just summoned a tree there. Great job!”

“Is it strange how much I just love the lighting and atmosphere here? And that’s not to mention the smooth artwork. The artwork honestly makes sense with the blog and comes off as all around aesthetically pleasing to look at, not to mention it can be quite colorful at times which really matches to the more humorous tone of the blog.”

“I’m pretty sure you’re still doing it wrong….”

“Now one of the best attributes of this blog is that not only is it a video game crossover, as well as anime when you include that as well, but it also incorporates a vast number of charaters and their interactions, both with the Personas and their respective users.”

Though there may be a lot of charaters to enjoy, they aren’t without their faults, and sometimes I wonder how exactly Izanagi is able to handle dealing with all of them.“

"Like when this little guy gets into the chocolate.”

“Is it just me or do you love the expression on Izanagi’s face there? It’s just absolutely priceless! Now if only I somehow had a picture….Wait did that thing have a laser sword?”

“Or how about dealing with Himiko’s less than stellar singing?”

“Yep. Pretty sure I just went deaf in my right ear. Why would you do that Himiko? WHY!?”

“Still, every group has to have that one black sheep, and Izanagi and his blog are no exception. Don’t believe me? Why don’t you say high so this grumpy guy.”

“You’re just angry because Izanagi’s better than you.”

“Each of these characters are unique and interesting, and portrayed very well to do their video game counterparts justice. Not only that, they each have their own unique sets of abilities, talents, and skills. For example, did you know Himiko can connect to the internet?”

“Don’t worry, she’ll be fine….I think…”

“Well I hope you guys enjoyed our little presentation for this week’s Weekly Special Spotlight. Oh and if any of you mares out there were thinking about asking Izanagi to be your Valentine, it seems he may already have his heart taken.”

“Or maybe not…”

MOD’S NOTE: Due to our artist quitting, we may no longer be able to include Spotlight Heart’s Weekly Special Spotlights until we can find someone willing to volunteer to be our new artist. Don’t worry, we’ll still be doing the three spotlights during the week.

We’ve gotten your messages over whether or not we should stream sometimes during the days in between Spotlights. And the polls say “YES!” The stream’s purpose?
